210. New members are welcome, but the spots are limited.
dance dance company auditions will be September 18th
at 3:45 in the dance studio. all interested students are welcome.

aboriginal academic achievement is monday at lunch is
the first meeting of the year. anybody interested is welcome to attend in room
215.
MATH
EXTRA HELP Extra
help will take place every Tues and Wed at lunch in room 115 from 12:15 to
1:00. All students are welcome. If there are any grade 11 and 12 students
that are interested in tutoring, you can see Mrs. Nemetchek about available
opportunities. contact mrs. nemetchek at jnemetchek@sjsd.net
if you are interested in math tutoring.
champions Any grade 11 or 12 students interested in
joining the Champions cross mentoring program, please see Ms. Sheldon in the
gym.
gay/straight
alliance The Westwood
Gay Straight Alliance will be meeting Wednesdays after school in the art room,
beginning next week.. Everyone is welcome.
improv auditions are wed, thurs, and frid from 3:30 – 5:30 in the
drama room. there will be a signup sheet in front of the drama room today by
3:30, or you can speak to mr. white.
intramurals sign up sheets are outside of the gym for
indoor soccer. see. mr. schmeichel for more info.
girls
hockey Just a
reminder to girls that their second tryout is monday at 4pm. Girls are to be dismissed at 3:15pm
cheerleading Cheerleading tryouts will begin Monday
evening at 6:00 PM in the dance studio.
All students are welcome to tryout, no previous experience is
necessary. If you have any questions
please see Mrs. Nemetchek in room 115.
scorekeeping Scorekeepers -Anyone interested in
scorekeeping volleyball or basketball this year should see Mr. Schmeichel in
the gym ASAP.
Mr.
Miller is looking for students who are interested in Timekeeping hockey games
for money or volunteer hours. As well he is looking for anyone wanting to play
music at the games for volunteer hours.
