Student Council This is
election week at Westwood. WE have one
team running for executive and you will see their posters around the
school. Speeches will take place on Today
at 11:30. Advanced polls will be open
from 3:30-4:00 on Thursday; regular polls will be open from 8:00 -1:00 on
friday.
courtyard initiative
there will be a fundraising pasta dinner at DJay’s on June 2nd
from 1:30 – 4 Pm. tickets are only $20, with half going to improve our
courtyard. Tickets are available from the school office.
choral night The
Choral Major Grad Recital is coming up on May 23rd, and all are invited to
attend and support our grads - Wil B., Maria C., Sam C., and Riley D.
divisional choir
congrats to our westwood students who participated in last night’s
divisional choir concert. special congratulations go out to our graduating
students, emily, wil, and kinnon.
cafeteria Tuesday
– taco in a bag & kd, Wednesday – pasta with caesar salad, frozen
strawberry delight, thursday – christmas dinner
grad car wash
may 25th! sign up outside of 207 to work at the grad car wash
at the buggy bath on moray from 9-2. if you weren’t at the grade level meeting
yesterday, pick info up in the office.
valedictorian auditions Valedictorian
auditions will take place on Tuesday, May 28th at 12:03pm in room 207. There
will be an initial meeting on Wed, May 22nd at 12:03pm in room 207 to go over
the guidelines and expectations.
math extra help extra
help monday and thursday at lunch.
girls hockey All girls are to have their jerseys washed and
returned no later than friday.
dodgeball for siloam mission
there will be a dodgeball tournament may 23 at lunch. sign up outside of
the gym. Admission fee will be $2, payable on may 23.
beach volleyball a
reminder to all beach volleyball players that today at 3:30 is the deadline to
get your forms and cheques in to Ms. Reimer.
If you do not hand them in, you will be withdrawn from the tournament.
canoe trip
for all those who handed in the paperwork - there is a meeting today at
12:45 in the cave.
