Our school has set up this blog for our daily
announcements. Those interested can go to the following site and sign up to get
our announcements sent directly to their email account.
asl Students who have had
extensive exposure to American Sign Language or have developed skills from sign
courses have the opportunity to be evaluated for high school credits. Students can receive up to 4 credits based on
their ability and understanding of ASL.

jets tickets
we will be raffling them off for the march 30th game for
$5/ticket in front of the office every day this week at lunch. proceeds go to
hero home.
band Mr.
Edwards would like to remind all band students about the concert in the theatre
at 1:00 sharp today. Please make sure
you are in the theatre no later than 10 to 1:00.

there will be forms available in front of the office at lunch.
visual arts All
Grade 9 / 10 Visual Arts Major please come to the theatre at 11:00 am.
yip Yip students, site visit
permission forms and Manitoba Alive applications due Wed at 3 p.m., no
exceptions.
cafeteria tuesday – tacos and kd, Wednesday- pasta or
caesar salad and cupcakes, thursday – chicken fingers and fries.
grad retakes they
are march 15. there is a sign up for picture retakes outside of room 207.
the event
it’s march 16th. tickets are on sale every lunch outside of
the office. $15 for the floor, $10 for the balcony. there are sign up sheets for grade 11
volunteers on the student council board in the front foyer. the committee is asking each grad to donate
$5 towards silent auction prizes.
grade 11 students are asked to bring in
their baking this friday to the home ec room.
math extra help
mondays and thursdays in room 115.
outdoor soccer
any girls interested in playing outdoor girls soccer are asked to please
sign up outside of room 204. tryouts begin in the next couple of weeks.
ultimate Everyone
planning to play Ultimate this spring needs to check-in at Mr. Shoesmith's
room, anytime today before practice.
hawks Last night the boys that
play on the Bantam 1 Winnipeg Hawks, won city champs!!! Very exciting as now
they move onto proviincials. They have worked very hard this year as a team
with countless injuries and sicknesses and overcame those hurdles. The boys on the team are Adam, Nolan, Linden,
Chase, Jonny and Skyler.
basketball There
is an important meeting for all grade 9 boys playing on the basketball team
going to Sturgeon this week in Mr. Hayes's room at 12:03 today.
Racketlon indoor tennis finals continue today.
badminton there will be
a badminton practice tonight at:
3:30 - 4:30 for girls
4:30 - 5:30 for boys.
