u of m   Very important meeting for all grade 12 students who have applied to U of M taking place on Friday April 28th in first period. This meeting will address how to select your courses for next year. Please see Ms Bennett if you are unable to attend.

parent council   The April Parent Council meeting will take place on Wednesday April 19th at 7pm in the Library.

grad news:  safe grad paperwork is available in the office if you didn’t receive it at the meeting.

 

test drive a ford for safe grad!  it takes place friday, may 5^th from 9-6. if you have a valid driver’s licence, come out and ford will make a donation for every card driven. posters are around the school.

 

art house films   they’re back for semester 2!  movies run every Wednesday at 4pm. permission slips are available outside of the drama studio.

 

Ringette   Good luck to the Westwood Girls Ringette Team this afternoon as they take to the ice against to play Oak Park.  The girls fought hard yesterday but came up a bit short with a 6-4 loss to St. Mary's.

 

Badminton   Congratulations to all the Westwood Badminton team players that competed in Zone Finals this week.  Special honors go to Jayda /Julia for their 3rd place medal in girls doubles as well as Jeremy/ Derek with their silver medal in boys doubles.

 

Boys rugby   first games are saturday. forms are due to mrs. james.

 

girls hockey  The next training session for girls hockey will be this wednesday at 3:40 pm in the fitness center.

 

baseball   boys - tryouts Thursday, and friday at 7:15am in the field.

 

Lacrosse   Practice Thursday at 3:40pm in the field. Have cleats and full equipment
