spirit week   it’s dec. 19-22. monday: “would you still be my friend if i wore this?”. tuesday: canadian day, poutine in the caf at lunch.  Wednesday:  hawaiian day, beach volleyball in the gym at lunch.  Thursday:  ugly sweater day, rock the halls at lunch. Runs from 11:45-1:15.

europe trip   there is a meeting thursday at lunch in room 211 for all students going to europe.

 

Wcaag   there will be a WCAAG meeting on Thursday December 15th at 6:30pm in the library.  It is to discuss FLOTA theme and it should be brief.

gym riot   those students who have not yet signed up for gym riot can do so on the student council board until friday!

 

attendance   students are reminded that if they are going to miss 3 or more days of school, they need to fill out the appropriate paperwork, which is available online or in the office.

also, if students are late, they must receive a late slip from the office.

 

art house films   we are celebrating the holiday season with a special presentation of the 1987 classic, “a christmas story” on dec. 21^st at 4pm.  a hearwarming comedic look at a young boy’s desire to attain the beloved red rider bb gun. “be careful – you’ll shoot your eye out, kid.”

blood donor clinic   the blood bus is coming back to westwood on December 21^st at 1pm. sign up in the office if you’re 17 or older.

 

make club   Are you interested in 3D design such as character modelling, jewellery or parts design, 3D printing, coding, electronics, robotics, drones, CNC, and automation? Do you like to make stuff like you might see on pinterest or instructables? Do you want to learn to control LED lights to add to your projects? girls hockey  Good luck to the girls hockey team who take on Selkirk today at Keith bodley arena. Girls are to be dismissed at 245 pm.
