Wcaag   there will be a WCAAG meeting on Thursday December 15th at 6:30pm in the library.  It is to discuss FLOTA theme and it should be brief.

 

emergent expressions   it’s our dance department student choreography showcase. takes place Wednesday, december 14^th at 7pm in our theatre. admission is only $2, and all proceeds will be donated to charity.

 

broomball tournament   our annual fundraising tournament takes place december 20^th. sign up outside of the gym.

 

attendance   students are reminded that if they are going to miss 3 or more days of school, they need to fill out the appropriate paperwork, which is available online or in the office.

also, if students are late, they must receive a late slip from the office.

 

art house films   we are celebrating the holiday season with a special presentation of the 1987 classic, “a christmas story” on dec. 21^st at 4pm.  a hearwarming comedic look at a young boy’s desire to attain the beloved red rider bb gun. “be careful – you’ll shoot your eye out, kid.”

blood donor clinic   the blood bus is coming back to westwood on December 21^st at 1pm. sign up in the office if you’re 17 or older.

 

make club   Are you interested in 3D design such as character modelling, jewellery or parts design, 3D printing, coding, electronics, robotics, drones, CNC, and automation? Do you like to make stuff like you might see on pinterest or instructables? Do you want to learn to control LED lights to add to your projects? Have you heard of Arduino and Raspberry Pi and want to know what they are and what they can do? Do you have a cool idea for a project, but don't know where to start? Do you want to meet new people and share your ideas? If so, come check out Make club. Where you can do all of the above and more!

basketball   there will be a varsity boys basketball team meeting at lunch today in room 209.

 

girls hockey   Good luck to the girls hockey team as they take on rivals st Mary's today at 4 pm at Keith Bodley arena. Would love to see lots of fans out as these games tend to be fast and aggressive. Girls are to be dismissed at 245 pm.
