pep rally friday at 11am.  class times:  8:30-9:20, 9:20-10:10 and 10:10 – 11am.

ib information evening   we will be having an information session for grade 9 & 10 students who are interested in ib for the coming school year, and their parents. it will take place monday, february 22^nd at 7pm.

ib great escape   It’s march 4^th at U of M. choices and permission forms are due back to the office friday. there is a $10 fee – can be paid online.

u of m school of art   open house is this sunday from 12-5. more information is available in the office.

registration forms   they are due back asap.

grad   turn in your yearbook and convocation comments to the grad committee on the gym stage asap.

school dance  is march 11, with a tropical theme. tickets are $10 and available in front of the office next week.

coffee house   it’s february 21^st at 7pm at the daily grind. tickets are $15 in front of the office at lunch.

games club   If you’re looking for something to do during lunch, you can go to room 215 to eat, drink and play games. join other students for fun, games and friendship.

grad    photos take place in the gym feb. 16-22. cost is $60, payable to westwood collegiate, or online.

eph apparel will be here wednesday, march 16^th from 4:30-8pm for fittings for custom order suits. suit, shirt and ties is $350.

minneapolis arts trip   There are two spots open for girls to go on the Minneapolis Arts trip in April. If you are interested please see Mrs. Teichroew for more information.

go hungry 24 hour famine   ib & drive are hosting the fundraiser for rwanda and east africa. it will take place april 21^st. sign up on the IB board in front of the office.

Construction career expo   Students interested in careers in construction have the opportunity to attend the Construction Career Expo on May 11th 2016. This is an excellent opportunity to make connections and participate in demonstrations in almost 100 different trades. Students wishing to attend need to see Mr. Fewer before the end of the semester.

baseball   Any guys interested in playing baseball for Westwood this spring please sign up on the sheet outside the gym.

girls hockey   Congratulations to the girls hockey team on a season well played. Last night their season came to an end as they lost in a nail biter 3-2. The girls played with heart, character, and determination to make Westwood proud. Thanks to all the supporters that came out you really made the last game memorable.

the team will miss the graduating girls Chelsea, Delaney, Brynn, Kyla, and Nikki.

Jerseys, shells, and socks are to be brought back on monday.
