ReplayIt   Share and view your pictures online and possibly have them published in the yearbook. All students are invited to submit candid photos from various school events. After submission you can view your photos and photos submitted by others on the ReplayIt site. It is super simple and can be done from a computer or your favourite mobile device. Directions for joining ReplayIt are posted around the school. Photos can be taken with your phone camera, point-and-shoot, or SLR camera. Share your precious moments and events with your friends, the student body, and the yearbook committee.

grad   any student who hasn’t yet filled in their convocation and yearbook comments – get them in! there are blank forms in the office.

Grad photo retakes will take place on Friday, March 13th. Sign up sheet is up outside of room 207. Please bring your proofs to your photo session in order to not pay for the sitting fee.

job fair   hmcs chippawa, winnipeg, naval reserve unit, is holding its annual job fair from 12-4pm this Saturday. This is a great opportunity for young adults aged 16 and older, in grade 11 or higher, to be able to secure excellent part-time and summer employment. see our guidance office for more info.

event   ticket sales every day before and after school and at lunch. tickets are $15, cheques payable to westwood safe grad.

band   Congratulations go out this morning to the members of the Gr.9 Concert Band for their wonderful performance yesterday at the Optimist Band festival.  The band received many positive comments on their fantastic energy and technical accuracy.  Adjudicators and audience members were very pleased with the overall level and ability of the ensemble.  Way to go grade 9s!

mini warriors   Any volleyball players in the school that are willing to be a volunteer coach for this year's Mini Warriors are to meet in Ms. Reimer's room (113) on Monday at 12:03.  It is five 1 hour sessions and volunteer hours are given.

aaa  AAA meeting at 10 am in room 215 on thursday this week all who cannot attend must see mr. fewer.

girls hockey   Good luck to our girls hockey team as they try to tie up the series today at 4pm at keith bodley. Come out and cheer on our girls. Girls are to be dismissed at 2:45pm for their game. There will be a team meeting at lunch.

boys hockey   anyone who was a timekeeper for boys hockey is asked to see mr. miller right now.

badminton   tryouts continue at 12:20 today. anyone still wanting to sign up – please see mr. penning in the gym today.
