band   Congratulations goes out everyone involved in last night's band concert.  Besides appreciation from the Westwood community, compliments for your outstanding playing have been coming in this morning from as far away as Ottawa and Vancouver.  The level of musicianship and the fantastic energy made for a truly memorable evening.  You had the audience hooked from the very beginning with your fantastic playing and wonderful jazz solos.  To top it off, the audience sent you home with a standing ovation.  What a night!  Congratulations Mr. Edwards and Westwood Band students.

special olympics   on friday, feb. 27^th, we are hosting the manitoba winter games for the special olympics and are looking for 40 keen and mature students to volunteer. please see mr. schmeichel if you’d like to be part of this exciting event!
