social studies With the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the First
World War, the Westwood Collegiate Social Studies department is planning a
Canadian Battlefields Tour in March 2014.
The 10 day tour of Northern France and southern Belgium will
include: Passchendaele, In Flanders
Field Museum, The Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate Memorial, Vimy Memorial,
and other First World War cemeteries, museums, monuments and battlefields. See the information posted outside Mr.

– tacos & kd, wednesday – pasta & cupcakes, Thursday – lasagne (meat
& veggie), friday – fingers and fries. the cafeteria will be open monday to
thursday during exam week from 7:45 until 1:30 every day with a full menu.
