Our school has set up this blog for our daily announcements. Those interested can go to the following site and sign up to get our announcements sent directly to their email account.


day of pink   it’s april 13th. support anti-bullying initiatives. tshirts are $5 – pick up an order form in the art room or in front of the office by friday.


minneapolis trip   The Minneapolis Steeped Tea is in so please pick up your orders in the art room asap!

Digital Art Club   Attention all students interested in creating digital artworks, painting and drawing: Mr. Cichosz is starting a Digital Art club in which students will be able to share and exchange ideas about creating digital art as well as learn new techniques. the first meeting is Thursday, March 10 after school in room 210. During this meeting you will determine the format and key elements of the club as well as future meeting times.

gym riot   savage soulatkoffs will have a dance rehearsal friday at lunch in the theatre.

wILD WESTEES ON GYM STAGE at the bell

operation donation is now underway. teams are collecting tinned goods this week to be donated to winnipeg harvest. the weight of the goods will be matched by peak of the market and safeway. friday is the last day to donate.

APEX Talent Show cONGRATULATIONS TO ALL STUDENTS INVOLVED IN THE APEX SHOWCASE TALENT SHOW LAST NIGHT, YOU SHOULD BE VERY PROUD OF YOUR HARD WORK.



Minneapolis arts trip   Minneapolis students are to come to the art room to choose their hotel room assignment.

scholarship opportunity   Did you go to WMEMS?  Are you graduating this year?  If so, see Mr. Fewer or Ms. Sheldon for information regarding a scholarship application. 

Job opportunity   Any students interested in a job opportunity at St. Charles Country Club this summer should see Mr. Fewer immediately

job opportunities are available through Elections Manitoba for this upcoming Provincial Election. These are paid positions available to grade 12s on a first come first served basis. The deadline for applications is March 4th. See Mr. Fewer if you are interested.

grad   turn in your yearbook and convocation comments to the office asap. B

eph apparel will be here wednesday, march 16th from 4:30-8pm for fittings for custom order suits. suit, shirt and ties is $350.

grad photo retakes   they will take place friday, march 18th. sign up outside of room 207. if you bring your proofs, you don’t have to pay a sitting fee.

the event   tickets will be on sale mornings and lunch days 1,3 and 5. tickets are $15 on the floor, $12 in the balcony and $10 with the donation of a grad dress.

if you are in grade 11 and have not signed up to volunteer, please do so asap. the signup sheet is outside of the dance studio. the signup sheet will come down monday.

grads are asked to donate $10 and parents are asked to donate a silent auction prize – all donations can be handed in to the office. hopefully, enough money will be raised at the event that grads don’t have to pay for their safe grad tickets.

if you weren’t at the meeting on wednesday, pick up an information sheet in the office.

school dance    is march 11, with a tropical theme. tickets are $10 and available in front of the office this week.

go hungry 24 hour famine   ib & drive are hosting the fundraiser for rwanda and east africa. it will take place april 21st. sign up on the IB board in front of the office.

Construction career expo   The Manitoba Construction Careers Expo is being held on May 11th. It is an excellent opportunity for students to get some hands on demonstrations on construction trades and learn valuable information for future employment. Interested students need to see Mr. Fewer immediately.

CONGRATS TO THE VARSITY GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM ON THEIR HUSGE WIN AGAINST OAK PARK LAST NIGHT TO TAKE 3RD PLACE IN CONFERENCE.  CONGRATS TO JESSICA MARX-HOUNDLE ON HER CONFERENCE ALL STAR.  SPECIAL THANKS TO the AMAZING FANS THAT CAME ALL THE WAY OUT TO SISLER TO CHEER US ON.
