the event   Any grade 12 students interested in signing up to be co-chairs for this year’s grad fundraiser (The EVENT 2013) are asked to stop by the office and pick up an information package.  Please seem Mr. Toms or Miss Overby for more details.

grade level meetings will take place thursday in our theatre during periods 2 & 3.

yip   All YIP students who are going to the conference are asked to meet in front of the office at 8:00am tomorrow morning, as we will be departing shortly thereafter.

we day  there is a meeting for all students who attended we day thursday at lunch in the theatre.

remembrance day   our service is friday at 10:00 am. please remember to bring money for your poppy.

cafeteria   Tuesday – tacos and potato wedges, Wednesday – pasta and brownies, Thursday - chili, chicken and dumplings, beanie weenies with a bun or beef stew

hat day   thursday is hat day. for a donation of $2 or a food item, you can wear your hat for the day. all donations go to winnipeg harvest.

grad craft sale   all grade 12 students are expected to sign up for a minimum of one shift at the craft sale on november 24. sign up outside of room 207.

westwood clothing drive   we will be collecting gently used outerwear to donate to an anonymous school in winnipeg. collection boxes will be set up this week.

guidance news   Students interested in a career in Graphic Design are encouraged to attend RRC's Graphic Design Info Night on Thurs, Nov 29th from 5:00 - 8:00.  It will take place at the Exchange District Campus (William Building, 6th floor).  Please see Ms Bennett for details.

The University of Manitoba is offering  faculty-focused campus tours throughout November.  Grade 11 and 12 students who are interested in learning more about the faculty of Arts & Humanities, Science, Engineering, or Business are encouraged to attend these special tours.  Please see Ms Bennett for more information regarding dates and times for these tours.

math extra help   mondays and thursdays at lunch in room 115.

girls hockey   Anyone looking to get some money or volunteer hours we are looking for someone to do the girls music on game days.  See Mr. Hiebert if you are interested.

boys soccer   Indoor soccer practice Wednesday, November 7th, at Highlander from 3:30-4:30.

curling    The boys have a game on Friday November 9th at Charleswood.

basketball   tuesday – 3:30 – jvb, 5:30 – vg, 7:30 – jvg. vb tryout Wednesday at 5:30 and Thursday at 7:30. if you can’t make it, see mr. fewer.

volleyball   congrats to our girls for their good team effort in their win over frc last night in 5 sets. the team continues their playoff run thursday at 6:30 at sturgeon heights when they take on st. mary’s.

intramural polo   the schedule will be posted Thursday.  open gym basketball at lunch Wednesday.
