art house films art house films are back
for another year. starting october 12th, and running every
wednesday, you will get to watch movies that are not just your regular
hollywood fare. our first movie is titled “9”. a rag doll awakens in a
post-apocalyptic future and holds the key to humanity’s salvation. registration
is required. pick up a form from the drama room.
inktober students
who love to draw with ink should take part in inktober.check out the posters
around the school or see mrs. teichroew in the art room. prizes will be awarded!
blood donor clinic on october 26th at lunch, the blood bus is coming to pick up
students who are over 17. you can sign
up in the office – there are currently 3 spots left.

will be here october 19th at lunch so that students 17 years or over
can have their blood typed.
u of m Any gr 10, 11, or 12 students who are
interested in Engineering or would like to learn more about it are invited to
attend U of M's Engineering Outreach Day october 18, with 2 more dates to
follow, for a full day of presentations and hands on experience in design and
problem solving. Please see Ms Bennett for details. October 7th is
the last day to pick up permission forms for october 18th.

volleyball Congratulations to the
varsity girls volleyball team on winning the Viking classic tournament in
Brandon this past weekend. It was a great team effort and the girls played
excellent throughout the whole tournament. Practice today at 5:30 at Lincoln.
