indiginous students Attention all grade 10, 11,
and 12 Indigenous youth: Are you interested in a career in business?
In.Business is a mentorship program the offers youth the opportunity to
experience different aspects involved in a career in business before you commit
to a post-secondary program.
The program is made up of business challenges facilitated by
mentors, with a two- day
opening conference here in Winnipeg, and a closing conference in Saskatoon at
the end of the year. All expenses are paid! There is also an opportunity to win
a $1000 scholarship.
For more information, come pick up an application form from the
office. Deadline to apply is this Friday.

art house films art house films are back
for another year. starting october 12th, and running every
wednesday, you will get to watch movies that are not just your regular
hollywood fare. our first movie is titled “9”. a rag doll awakens in a post-apocalyptic
future and holds the key to humanity’s salvation. registration is required.

blood donor clinic on october 26th at lunch, the blood bus is coming to pick up
students who are over 17. you can sign
up in the office – there are currently 3 spots left.

will be here october 19th at lunch so that students 17 years or over
can have their blood typed.

girls hockey Good luck to our girls
hockey team who begins their season today as they take on St. Mary's at the
Iceplex. Girls are to be dismissed at 3:15 pm.
boys hockey dismissed at 2:55 wednesday
for practice and 2:55 thursday for their game at keith bodley.
basketball There will be a meeting at
lunch today for all boys interested in playing basketball this year (who are
not currently playing volleyball). The meeting will take place in room 209, Mr.
Alexiou's room at 12:05 pm. It should only take about 10 minutes.
