grade 12 meeting   There will be a very important information session for all grade 12s who have been accepted into the U of W and the U of M on Thursday May 19th.

This is an essential meeting to prepare future students for their first semester in university and all those who have been accepted should attend.

convocation and yearbook comments   the deadline is past due but there are still a lot of grads who haven’t handed their comments in. pick up a blank form from the office.

safe grad   parents of Grade 12 students are asked for donation, either monetary or prizes, for the silent auction at safe grad. donations can be dropped off in our school office, preferably by june 15.

orlando   students going to orlando are to come to the office to pick up a form.

paint night   our next fundraiser is wednesday, may 25 from 7-9 pm in the art room.  cost is $30, first come, first served. reserve your spot by emailing to kzapotochny@sjsd.net.

community service hours   Grade 12 students applying for awards and scholarships are reminded to submit their community involvement activity log forms.  Students need 40 hours logged to qualify for a St. James-Assiniboia Diploma.  Log forms are available in the office and, when signed by supervisor, can be returned to the office.

Any students wanting to volunteer at the Teddy Bear picnic on May 29th can see Ms. Sheldon to sign up. 

Ultimate   Players travelling to Oshawa are reminded to get their forms in to Mr. Shoesmith ASAP.

boys rugby   Congratulations to the Boys rugby teams who came away with 3 wins and a tie during last night's rugby action.
There will be a mandatory rugby meeting today at 11:55 in RM 124.  All players must attend.

beach volleyball   Anyone interested in playing beach volleyball make sure you get permission forms in to Mr. Enns as soon as possible. Also there will be a practice tuesday at 3:30.

watersheds   Congratulations to Hunter and Alissa for their first place finish, and Delaney for her fourth place finish, at the Caring for our Watersheds contest this weeked at Oak Hammock Marsh.  The students will receive cash awards and will now implement their projects, a watershed dance awareness show and and underwater cleanup of Falcon Lake.

career symposium   if you have your permission form, hand it in to the office.

apex   congrats to the apex dance company for winning gold at the manitoba provincial dance festival.
